PostNet Franchise Inks Deal to Develop 16 New Business Services Centers in Central America and Dominican Republic

DENVER, Aug. 13, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PostNet, the nation's first and only Neighborhood Business Center and pioneer of the small-business services segment in the U.S., announced today an agreement with Latam Business Franchise S.A. to debut the franchise in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic and further expand throughout Panama.

Since 2008, Latam Business Franchise S.A., has developed nine PostNet locations throughout Panama. The recent agreement with the master franchisee calls for an additional six locations in Panama and the development of five centers in both Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic within the next three to five years.

"Rapidly developing countries like Panama have a tremendous demand for services that can support business expansion, and our ability to evolve with technology and provide the latest marketing, branding, printing, and shipping services under all one roof has set PostNet up for long-term, continued growth," said Steve Greenbaum, CEO of PostNet International Franchise Corporation. "Latam Business Franchise S.A comprises a group of young, progressive and business savvy professionals who are prepared to build on the success of the existing Panama centers and take advantage of the growth opportunities in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic."

According to Panama's Economy and Finance Minister, Frank De Lima, Panama's economy will grow by 8 percent in 2013, maintaining its place as one of the fastest growing economies in the region. Panama's economy grew by 10.6 percent in 2011, and De Lima expects 10 percent growth in 2012.

With several hundred franchises in the United States and 350 more in other countries, PostNet successfully seized an opportunity in the economic downturn to carve a niche as the nation's first, and currently only, Neighborhood Business Center.

PostNet franchise owners and their staffs work closely with each client to identify their objectives, build upon their ideas, and develop the best solution to meet their needs. This includes anything associated with gaining and retaining customers, from multi-channel marketing campaigns and integrating new and traditional marketing methods, to web design and social media services.
