TORONTO, Aug. 24, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Interactive Gaming Council (IGC) today launched a website dedicated to providing news and information about online gaming as it relates to the Canadian industry and its jurisdictions: www.igccanada.com

Given all the activity occurring across the country as provinces enter the online gaming environment, the IGC wants to ensure that timely and accurate information is available to Canadians about the industry, offshore operators, and the benefits of licensing and regulation.

The existing website, www.igcouncil.org, will continue to provide American-focused news and information, and be the source of all relevant background information on the IGC, including its advertising code of conduct, Helping Hand program, code of conduct, and membership application.
