Heumann Environmental Appoints Midwest Manufacturer Representatives

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Heumann Environmental Company, which custom designs and manufactures specialized separation equipment for industrial processing and air pollution applications, has hired technical sales agents to represent the company in Chicago, St. Louis and portions of Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

The two companies are Controlled Environment Company and Sustainability Business Management, LLC, both headquartered in the Chicago metropolitan area.

"We're very familiar with these companies and we're excited to be working with them," said Bill Heumann, CEO of Heumann Environmental Company, or HEC. "Each brings a set of unique capabilities and strengths in meeting customer needs for pollution control and processing solutions."

Based in Chicago, Ill., Sustainability Business Management represents major energy and environmental equipment manufacturers. It provides air pollution control solutions through oxidizers, high efficiency cyclones, scrubbers and custom applications, packaged cogeneration systems, energy recovery and waste minimization applications.

Said SBM CEO George Voss: "Through engineered design and aftermarket services that emphasize resource conservation, high operating efficiency and meeting environmental regulations, we provide sustainable approaches to reduce energy consumption, operating costs and environmental impact."

Skokie, Ill.-based Controlled Environmental Company represents manufacturers of industrial dust collection and air scrubbing equipment, and serves companies searching for pollution control and processing solutions provided by high-efficiency cyclones, wet scrubbers and other equipment, said owner Joe Rausch. Controlled Environmental, founded in 1975, will represent the Chicago metro area, including extreme northwest Indiana, and northern Illinois.

Sustainability Business Management is Heumann Environmental's exclusive representative for companies located in eastern Missouri, including the St. Louis metropolitan area, central and southern Illinois, and northern Indiana.

Based in Louisville, HEC provides engineering consulting services as well as the design and manufacture of industrial particulate separation equipment known as high-efficiency cyclones. The cyclones separate microscopic particles from gas streams and are used to maximize the efficiency of applications that include dust collection, pollution control, ventilation, product recovery and process optimization. The equipment is integral to a variety of sectors, including the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, ethanol, petroleum, forest products, and utility industries.

Heumann, an industry expert and patent holder, formed HEC in 2011 to be a valued technical partner and resource to solve the most vexing and complex issues involving industrial processes. Over a three-decade career, Heumann has provided leadership in addressing  pollution control and industrial processing issues. He is scheduled to provide interactive lectures on cyclone technology to the Cincinnati ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) chapter on September 19 and the Mobile, Ala., ASME chapter on September 25.
