Saia Receives Two First Place Awards for Safety Record

(NASDAQ: SAIA) announced today that it has been honored with two first place awards for its excellent 2011 safety record at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Safety Management Council's recent Safety and Human Resources National Conference and Exhibition held in Kansas City, Mo.

The ATA presented the awards to Saia at the Truck and Industrial Awards and State Association Recognition Awards Luncheon on September 13.
