1,500th Panda Express Marks Entry in Memphis

Introduces New Prototype Store Design


ROSEMEAD, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 21, 2012) - Panda Express, the world leader in Asian dining experiences has reached a major milestone, announcing the opening of its 1,500th location. Located at 585 N. Germantown Road, Cordova, Tenn, the first Panda Express restaurant in the Memphis area is also the site for one of Panda's new store design prototypes.

"Our 1,500th unit is an entirely new design in a brand new market for Panda Express," said David Landsberg, Chief Development Officer, Panda Restaurant Group. The new restaurant design will give a fresh and modern look to the exterior and interior of Panda Express locations and will incorporate the brand's heritage while maintaining Panda's welcoming atmosphere. "Panda is dedicated to providing the best dining experience possible and the new design gives guests another reason to love Panda Express," said Landsberg.

The 1,500th Panda Express is open daily from the hours of 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
