15th Annual HR Technology Conference(R) Expected to Draw Record Attendance

Thousands of HR Professionals to Meet With Industry Influencers at Highly Anticipated 2012 Event

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Sep 27, 2012) - Human Resource Executive® magazine, the premier publication focused on strategic issues in HR, today announced that it anticipates record attendance at the upcoming 15th Annual HR Technology(R) Conference & Exposition. The event, in which thousands of HR professionals will connect with the industry experts shaping the future of HR technology, will be held October 8-10, 2012 at the West Building of McCormick Place in Chicago.

Following the success of last year's conference, which drew attendees from 27 countries and established the event as one of the two must-attend HR conferences of the year, the 2012 event is anticipated to draw a record-breaking audience of thousands of HR professionals. In addition, the conference has already sold out its exhibition floor, setting another conference record with 257 companies already exhibiting and a waiting list of other suppliers.

"The HR Technology® Conference & Exposition aims to provide today's HR professionals with answers to their most pressing questions regarding the many HR technology solutions available to them," said Bill Kutik, the conference founding co-chair and technology columnist for Human Resource Executive®. "Based on the record-setting number of attendees registered so far, it is clear that there are many questions that need to be answered. It is one goal of the conference to connect HR professionals with the people who know HR technology the best -- those who have created it and those who have dedicated their lives to understanding and implementing it."

Aside from the record number of attendees and exhibitors, the 2012 HR Technology® Conference & Exposition is expected to attract dozens of analysts, journalists and bloggers and more than 1,700 vendor representatives. The conference will also include presentations from more than 70 thought-leaders who can help attendees solve their biggest problems and expand their perspectives.

In one of the most anticipated presentations, Mark Hurd, president of Oracle, will deliver a special session titled: "A CEO Perspective - Thoughts on Customers, HR and How CEOs Think about the World." Afterward, he will answer questions from Bill Kutik and the audience. The conference will also host a panel moderated by Naomi Lee Bloom (the world's leading expert in HR technology and managing partner of Bloom & Wallace), in which senior industry executives from six leading HR technology providers, including Oracle, SAP, Workday, ADP, Salesforce.com and Ultimate Software, discuss the next frontier in HR technology.

Other highlights of the conference include the "Top HR Products of 2012 Awards Luncheon," during which Human Resource Executive® will recognize excellence and innovation in the HR vendor community; "Awesome New Technologies for HR," where Culture Amp, EmployTouch, Knack.it, Peoplefluent, TalentBin and Visier will provide demonstrations of their groundbreaking and innovative software; and "The Second Annual Candidate Experience Awards," which will highlight those organizations that provide their job applicants with an exemplary candidate experience.

In addition to these sessions, conference participants can attend sessions in a number of tracks, such as Talent Management, Workforce Analytics & Planning, Strategic View, HCM & Workforce Management, Recruiting, and new for this year, Outsourcing and Social in the Enterprise.

The HR Technology® Conference & Exposition is the annual Town Meeting of thousands of professionals from around the world who gather to share their expertise and challenges in all forms of technology for HR. This year's event will focus on a number of emerging topics, including how the combination of Cloud Computing, Social in the Enterprise, Analytics (including Big Data) and Mobile is ushering in a new era in computing.
