BigMachines Announces Inc. 500|5000 Ranking for Fifth Consecutive Year

BigMachines Ranks No. 1129 on the 2012 Inc. 500|5000 With Three-Year Sales Growth of 280%

CHICAGO, Oct. 1, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- For the 5th year in a row, Inc. magazine has again ranked BigMachines on its annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America's entrepreneurs and privately run corporations. BigMachines joins Facebook, HubSpot, Marketo, and Yelp, among other prominent brands featured on this year's list. Aside from being ranked No. 1129 overall, BigMachines was also ranked No. 97 in Software, and climbed to No. 27 in Software based on revenue.

"BigMachines' consistent revenue growth enables us to invest even more in our innovative products and dynamic employees, delivering unmatched customer success," said David Bonnette, President, BigMachines. "BigMachines has an established record of creating jobs, adding close to 200 people to our team by the end of this year, and we take great pride in being recognized among the fastest-growing private companies for the fifth year in a row by Inc. magazine."

BigMachines, the global leader in Configure, Price, Quote, enables businesses to sell more, faster with a suite of on-demand products. Whether a company sells silicon chips or potato chips, BigMachines can help to quickly configure products and services, create 100% accurate sales quotes, proposals and contracts, and share data with CRM, ERP and other business systems.

In a stagnant economic environment, the median 3-year growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. The companies on this year's list report having created over 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.

"Now, more than ever, we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs, and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large corporations, are where the action is," says Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg.
