Home Federal Bank Announces New Hires and Staff Transitions


SHREVEPORT, La., Oct. 15, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Home Federal Bank today announced the hiring of several new employees: Karen Allen, Delayne Lewis and Emily Price. Jeremy Jones, previously Branch Manager of our Viking Drive location, will transition to the bank's commercial division.

Mrs. Allen joined Home Federal in September as our new Viking Drive Branch Manager. Karen has extensive banking experience, working in banking for nearly 20 years. She was most recently instrumental in opening a regional bank branch in Bossier City, where she worked for three years. She attended LSU Shreveport and is also a certified notary public.

Mrs. Lewis started at Home Federal in March as our Compliance Officer. In her role, she ensures Home Federal policies and procedures are in compliance with all appropriate standards. She has worked for local community banks for over 30 years. She obtained Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager certification through the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers and is also a graduate of the LSU Baton Rouge Graduate School of Banking.

Mrs. Price joined Home Federal as our Marketing Officer in July. She coordinates the bank's marketing efforts, events and sponsorships. She has four years' experience in marketing, the most recent two years with Gremillion & Pou Integrated Marketing as Home Federal's Account Executive. She is a graduate of LSU Baton Rouge and received a master's degree from The University of Alabama.

Mr. Jones, who has been Branch Manager at our Viking Drive location for the past two years, will move to our commercial division in October. He will be handling mortgage construction financing, and he will also be partnering with branch managers to grow small business development loans. He is also a graduate of the LSU Baton Rouge Graduate School of Banking.
