MEDL Mobile Nominated by The Orange County Register as a Top Workplace

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Oct. 23, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB:MEDL.OB) – a pioneer in the creation, development, marketing and monetization of mobile apps – was nominated in the prestigious Top Workplaces 2012 survey conducted by The Orange County Register.

The Orange County Register and research partner WorkplaceDynamics sought out top companies in Orange County to take the pulse of employers in the area. More than 4,000 companies in large metropolitan areas of the U.S. have been surveyed by Pennsylvania-based WorkplaceDynamics. In Orange County last year, more than 18,500 employees took the survey.

"It's an honor to be recognized as part of this elite group," said Andrew Maltin, CEO and Co-founder of MEDL Mobile. "The mobile industry has experienced incredible growth and we've been able to ride that wave. Along the way, we've focused on building a very creative and interactive environment for our employees."

MEDL Mobile has more than 20,000 square feet located just off the 405 in Fountain Valley. Perks to employees include free meals, a theater to play video games and watch movies, and free snacks and drinks. Past rewards for outstanding performance have been company-wide trips to Las Vegas. In addition, employees have been known to bring their pet pigs to work.

"There's always something going on at the office –from a Ping-Pong competition to a spontaneous late night movie to a meeting with a celebrity," said Bradley Roush, Senior Software Engineer. "I've never worked anywhere like this."

The top workplaces in each category – large, mid-sized and small companies – will be recognized in a supplement to be published by the Register in December and in an online directory.
