HARRIE NOY WINS LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD AT EUROPEAN CEO CONFERENCE OF ACE


AMSTERDAM, NOVEMBER 13, 2012 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), a leading international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, announced that its former CEO Harrie Noy has won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the European CEO Conference of the British Association of Consulting Engineers ACE. The Lifetime Achievement Award is for a CEO who has made an exceptional, prolonged contribution to the industry during his career.

Harrie Noy was CEO at ARCADIS from 2000 to May 2012. He has almost 40 years of experience in the consulting and engineering industry. He is currently a member of the supervisory boards of among others Nederlandse Gasunie, Fugro and BAM and chairman of the HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Dutch cities of Arnhem and Nijmegen. In October he won Strategy Award of the Dutch organization for strategy and management.
Earlier this year Harrie Noy was named Commander in the order of Orange Nassau by Her Majesty Queen Beatrix. He was also named an honorary member of NLingenieurs - the Dutch Association of Consulting Engineers for his contribution to the image of the Dutch engineering industry abroad.
