LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd., ("Drinks") (OTCQB:DKAM), a leading developer and marketer of beverage products, is pleased to announce it presold 75% of the limited edition Los Ultimos Dias bottle of its award-winning KAH® Tequila ("KAH").

"The entire production run is already 75% presold, and we expect to sell out before December. This should add an estimated $650,000 in gross income in the fiscal third quarter of 2013, on top of our already-growing sales."
Each Los Ultimos Dias bottle is numbered and hand-crafted with gold. Walgreens at 3400 Coors N.W., Albuquerque, NM 87109, will host a signing with bottle artist Richard Cabo on the first weekend in December.
Los Ultimos Dias is based on the Mayan calendar, which is divided into 144,000-day cycles. The last cycle ends on December 21, 2012, causing many to speculate that the world will end on that day. The last day of the Mayan calendar corresponds with the winter solstice, which is culturally significant all over the world.
