BURLINGTON, VT--(Marketwire - Dec 13, 2012) - Marathon Health, Inc. today announced an agreement with Baldwin Filters to serve as the filter manufacturer's onsite health services provider at its Kearney, Neb. manufacturing plant.
Under the agreement, Marathon Health will provide primary care, health assessments, lifestyle coaching, and disease management services to 1,000 Baldwin employees and dependents. Baldwin, a CLARCOR company, expects the facility to be open in April 2013.
The selection criteria identified by Baldwin included a vendor who could help foster a corporate culture that aligns with Baldwin's commitment to caring about its employees' health and well-being, offer employees convenient access to high-quality healthcare, and contain rising healthcare costs. "Marathon Health was an ideal fit," said Baldwin Vice President of Human Resources Bill Musick.
