By deploying ScaleArc iDB, Sazze was able to achieve instant horizontal scalability and better uptime, improve query response times and get real-time analytics for their MySQL environment to reduce troubleshooting times. For Black Friday, Sazze was able to serve over 600 million queries, tripling the amount of transactions from the previous year. The deployment of iDB was fast and totally transparent, requiring zero modifications to existing applications. The resulting ROI calculation demonstrated a 3 month payback for the deployment.
Prior to deploying ScaleArc, Sazze was having difficulty changing their MySQL architecture to scale with more sites and more users. Any change in database architecture required significant modifications to the applications.
