FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB:MEDL), a pioneer in the creation, development, marketing and monetization of mobile apps, and Encyclopaedia Britannica announced today an update to their mobile app, "Britannica Kids: U.S. Presidents," to celebrate President's Day.

The app, which launched at the start of 2012, includes games, facts and quizzes on each president's birthday, first lady, vice president, and a number of interesting fast facts. Now users will experience a mobilized, educational and factual biography for all 44 U.S. presidents. Each president's biography is chronologically listed from early life to education, to political career and presidential term.

In addition, "Britannica Kids: U.S. Presidents" will have improved functionality and a more compatible user interface that is optimized for iPhone 5 and the iOS 6 operating system, allowing users to smoothly navigate through the app. Enhanced functionality for iPad 3 is forthcoming.

"The biography feature adds more depth to the app. With a touch of the finger kids can now learn more about each president's life," said Dave Swartz, MEDL Mobile President and CCO. "This feature allows kids to easily explore the forefathers of our country and the nation's chief executives of the present day."

The app, now with newly added presidential biographies, debuts today on the Apple App Store and will be on sale for only $0.99 this weekend in honor of President's Day. Download for iOS here: http://bit.ly/britkids
