Opening this month, the new facility is located next door to the Computer Laboratory, an academic department within the university that not only includes Computer Science, but other aspects of Engineering, Technology and Mathematics. Given Metaswitch's history of hiring top class graduates from diverse backgrounds, the location provides an ideal base for the company's continued commitment to developing the industry's best software engineers. Over three hundred companies and commercial laboratories specialising in computing and advanced technology are already concentrated in the area.
