The series of four webinars, held in partnership with GlobalPlatform and the NFC Forum, aims to provide mobile application developers and the mobile community with the education they need to choose the best level of security for their NFC applications.

Integral components of the NFC ecosystem, NFC-enabled tags are integrated circuits that store data that can be read by an active NFC-enabled device such as a mobile phone. The market for NFC tags is expected to grow to $298 million by 20161 as organizations become increasingly interested in tags for smart posters, mobile marketing and information pick-up. To promote interoperability and a consistent user experience with tags, the NFC Forum has published four NFC tag type technical specifications.
This webinar, held in partnership with the NFC Forum, will review the different NFC Forum tag types, the applications that use each tag type, provisioning for tags, and security considerations when implementing tags. The speakers for this webinar are:
