HOUSTON, April 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Champion Entertainment, Inc. ("Champion") is pleased to announce that Stephen Baldwin will travel to Houston this week to complete principal photography for "The Costume Shop".
Mr. Baldwin's part is the final piece of the film and the starring role playing the older Kyle, a successful shoe store owner in a medium sized town. Everyone knows Kyle since he has lived in the town since a child and inherited the family business. Kyle was always in love with his wife since they first met in high school. He is truly a dad that wants the best for his kids and is up with the latest social trends and media even though he tends to hide that side of himself from his daughter.
"The movie is a Drama-fantasy family film, a cross between 'Back to the Future' and 'Somewhere in Time'. A young girl, Rebecca, who wants to borrow the family car for the evening when her father (Stephen Baldwin) decides that before she can take it she must listen to him tell her about some experiences that he had when he was in high school. Through a flashback sequence, young Jessica (Haylie Duff), is forced by her parents to work in her Aunt's (Shelley Duvall) costume shop and learns life lessons through interesting events.
