HRAA Appoints Douglas McCoy to Senior Vice President of Sales

Senior Healthcare Leader Strengthens HRAA's Sales Force


Plantation, FL, May 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Health Revenue Assurance Holdings Inc. (OTCBB: HRAA) ("HRAA"), a provider of technology and revenue integrity solutions for healthcare organizations, has announced the addition of healthcare IT sales veteran, Douglas McCoy, as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales.   

In his new role, Mr. McCoy will be responsible for leading HRAA's national sales team as the Company continues to expand its suite of business intelligence products and service offerings. He will provide HRAA with sales strategies for goal attainment, developing annual sales plans and budgets, directing, implementing, and executing sales policies and practices, and building and developing HRAA's team of skilled sales professionals.

Mr. McCoy is an accomplished sales leader with more than two decades of hospital-centric revenue cycle and information technology sales and management experience. Over the course of his career he has developed relationships with many of the nation's preeminent hospitals and health systems.  Throughout his career, Mr. McCoy has generated more than $250 million in revenue for the companies he has served.

Mr. McCoy comes to HRAA from E4E Inc., a global provider of healthcare revenue cycle solutions, where he served as Vice President and Head of Sales and Client Relations. During his tenure, he helped to increase revenues for the organization by 94 percent. Mr. McCoy has also held leadership positions with Apollo Health Street, Inc., which provides customized support services to more than 150 healthcare partners throughout the US; Integra Solutions PLC (now McKesson), a provider of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and IT to healthcare customers; and Daou Systems Inc., a healthcare consulting and management company.

Mr. McCoy holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Marshall University and has completed a number of sales and coaching certifications. He has held memberships with HIMSS, HFMA and AHIMA.
