Dietsmann acquires 100% of REP Engineering, Russia


The Netherlands, Breda - On May 15, Dietsmann acquired the remaining 49% of the shares in REP Engineering, a Russian Global Maintenance Services Company, bringing its holding to the total 100%.

Headquartered in Moscow, REP Engineering provides repair and maintenance services to power stations, including four large plants operated by Russian wholesale power generating company ENEL OGK-5 which have a combined installed capacity of over 8.7 Gigawatts.

REP Engineering has over 1,800 technical personnel based at four branch offices each close to one of the major power plants: Konakovskaya, north west of Moscow, Nevinnomysskaya, close to the Black Sea, Sredneuralskaya, which is north west of Ekaterinburg (Western Siberia), and Reftinskaya, north east of Ekaterinburg. Including the REP Engineering and SNGS employees in Sakhalin, Dietsmann's total workforce in Russia is 2300 people.

Dietsmann has been active in this field for more than 35 years and maintains many onshore and offshore production assets worldwide. Dietsmann has been active in Russia for 14 years. The acquisition of REP Engineering, which will be renamed Dietsmann, has consolidated Dietsmann's position as a leading international Operation & Maintenance service company and reinforced its position on the market.
