NACD Elects the Honorable Cari M. Dominguez to Board of Directors


WASHINGTON, June 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) has elected the Honorable Cari M. Dominguez to serve on the board. She brings a wealth of directorship experience on public, private, and nonprofit boards, as well as having a background in both government and the private sector.

Dominguez is currently a corporate director of ManpowerGroup (NYSE:MAN) and Triple-S Management Corp. (NYSE:GTS), the leading managed care company in Puerto Rico with exclusive rights to the BlueCross and BlueShield trademark. She is also a trustee of the Calvert SAGE Fund. Previously, Dominguez served on the nonprofit boards of Loma Linda University and Medical Center, the Leadership Foundation of the International Women's Forum, and the Human Resources Planning Society. Aside from her directorships, she has held various senior human resources positions at Bank of America, including director of executive programs. Dominguez also has a rich background in corporate governance as a partner in two international executive search firms—Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart—serving in their financial services, human resources, and corporate board practices.

Additionally, Dominguez was previously the chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and served in the U.S. Department of Labor in several roles, including Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employment Standards and director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. She was recognized as one of the "80 Elite Hispanic Women" and one of the "100 Most Influential Hispanics in the Country" by Hispanic Business magazine.
