Cognosante Awarded Pennsylvania MITA Contract

MCLEAN, Va., June 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cognosante, a leading provider of IT services for healthcare organizations, announced it was awarded a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare (DPW) to provide technical assistance for the completion of the Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) 3.0 "To Be" State Self-Assessment (SS-A) update required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Cognosante worked with DPW to prepare their MITA 2.01 SS-A in 2011.
