UPDATE: Circuit of The Americas(tm) reaching sellout of best seats for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX

Last 500 tickets in premium seating areas go on sale Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. CDT

Austin, Texas, June 19, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UPDATE:  Circuit of The Americas today announced that it is quickly selling out of the best seats in the house for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX and that the final 500 seats available in the Circuit's premium reserved seating areas--the Main Grandstand, Turn 1 and Turn 15--will go on sale, Friday, June 21, at 10 a.m. CDT. The 2013 Grand Prix is set for Nov. 15-17, and all tickets sold include tickets for three days--Friday's practice sessions, Saturday's practice and qualifying sessions and Sunday's races. The Circuit's three-day tickets allow great flexibility in that tickets can be used by one individual or divided among family, friends and business associates looking to entertain clients at the races.

Reserved seats in these premium areas are highly desirable because they provide expansive views of the $400 million venue in Austin, Texas, and allow spectators to catch the racing action from a variety of points around the 3.4-mile circuit.  Reserved seats in the Main Grandstand, Turn 1 and Turn 15 range in price from $500 to $650. Once the last 500 reserved seats in these areas are gone, fans' only options to enjoy these impressive views will be to purchase personal seat licenses that include season tickets to Formula 1® events or to purchase Circuit of The Americas Experiences Ticket Packages through Quint Events, the Official Ticket, Hospitality and Travel Package Provider for the Circuit.

"We are thrilled with the response from race fans who have eagerly secured their reserved seats for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX, and we encourage those who still want to enjoy the best seats and best views we offer to act quickly when our final 500 seats in these key areas go on sale this Friday," Circuit Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer Geoff Moore said. "Circuit of The Americas offers exceptional views of the on-track action at every turn.  However, the particular vantage points in the Main Grandstand and Turns 1 and 15 seating sections make for a very special Formula 1 experience--as evidenced by the fans that will make those areas the first to sell out. Our inaugural Formula 1 event was just named the 2012 'Sports Event of the Year,' and now is the time to act if you want to purchase great seats for the 2013 edition."
