OTTAWA, June 28, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kivuto Solutions Inc., the global leader in complex digital distribution, is proud to be one of the key sponsors of the 9th Annual Community Cup 2013, which takes place Sunday, June 30 at Brewer Park in Ottawa.
Created by the Catholic Centre for Immigrants, Community Cup 2013 is a day-long recreational co-ed soccer tournament designed to bridge and connect cultures, ethnicities and generations. It is part of the Community Cup Program, a year-long series of activities funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada based around sports and volunteerism as a way towards integration.
This year's event in Ottawa will see 48 co-ed soccer teams made up of players from the age of 15 and above compete on six separate fields for one of two trophies: the Community Cup and the Community Spirit Cup.
"This event has proven to be a great way for community members and newcomers to Ottawa to connect through the universal game of soccer," said Richard White, VP and COO. The games at this year's event will kick-off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. Other activities around the tournament include a community tent, kid's zone, demonstration sports zones, and a Canadian Citizenship and Re-affirmation Ceremony during which anyone wishing to re-affirm their citizenship can do so.
