LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Southern California Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) today announced the appointment of Mr. Hoshi Printer to the new Board position of Programs Chair. As Programs Chair, Mr. Printer will be responsible for the development of chapter events and resources including educational series, interactive workshops and roundtables, training and networking services. Mr. Printer is currently audit committee chair and board member at Lantronix, Inc. (Nasdaq:LTRX) and serves as the president of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association of Orange County. He has been a member of NACD for the past three years.

Mr. Printer's background includes four decades as a business and finance executive for public and private technology companies. He has served as chief financial officer for technology companies including Autobytel, Peerless Systems Corporation, Neuron Data, Soane Technologies and Catalytica. From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Printer was a chief financial officer consultant, and earlier he served as the divisional vice president of finance for Xerox Corporation. In addition to NACD, Mr. Printer serves on the board of the Forum for Corporate Directors (2007 to present), a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing boardroom performance. Mr. Printer holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business as well as an MS degree in industrial engineering and BA degrees in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
