"Cook Taste Eat" Weekly 30-Minute Culinary Show Available Exclusively on Portico TV From Net2TV

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 1, 2013) - Net2TV Corporation (www.net2television.com) is teaming up with the digital culinary media company, Cook Taste Eat, to deliver a new 30-minute TV program of the same name on Net2TV's Portico TV service. The weekly "Cook Taste Eat" show will be hosted by celebrity chef Michael Mina and feature recipes from Mina and other acclaimed chefs. "Cook Taste Eat" can be seen on Portico TV, which is available free-of-charge on Philips Smart TVs starting in August, and will be available on Roku later this summer. The Cook Taste Eat website provides recipes and instructional videos from some of the country's leading chefs, designed to inspire food lovers and home cooks to create restaurant-quality dishes at home. Under this agreement, Net2TV's Emmy award-winning production team will curate and package the videos into traditional 30-minute television programs for Portico TV. Each "Cook Taste Eat" show will teach viewers how to create sophisticated multi-dish meals.

"We want to inspire home cooks to make dishes that are bold and balanced," said Michael Mina, co-creator of Cook Taste Eat. "Portico TV offers us a way to bring that inspiration to life for television viewers."

"'Cook Taste Eat' offers viewers accessible yet elegant recipes and culinary techniques," said Jim Monroe, senior vice president of programming for Net2TV. "Many of our viewers are passionate about cooking and will appreciate learning to make these amazing dishes. 'Cook Taste Eat' is a valued addition to our Portico food programming."

Net2TV's cloud-based Portico TV service delivers free, traditional program-length shows. The company works with established media brands and emerging program producers who have good-quality, short-form pieces, and with independent film and documentary producers. The company curates these pieces and packages them into full 30-, 60-, or 90-minute television programs for Internet-connected TVs and other connected devices.

Net2TV's Portico TV service carries online TV programming from Discovery's Revision3 and CBS Interactive's CHOW.com, from traditional print media brands including Bonnier's Popular Science, and from emerging brands like CINEQUEST films. Portico programming is updated daily, and new types of entertainment and special-interest programming will be added in the future.
