Averail Access Provides the Mobile Workforce with Easy, Centralized Access to Information Stored in CRM, Cloud and On-Premise Repositories while Respecting Corporate Governance Requirements

San Jose, CA, Aug. 1, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Averail, a cloud-based mobile content solution provider for enterprisesof all sizes, today announced that it has integrated support for Salesforce CRM and Chatter content with Averail™ Access.   The unified solution from Averail enhances productivity by providing the mobile workforce with secure, easy and centralized access to business documents stored in CRM, Chatter, cloud and on-premise repositories while respecting corporate governance requirements.

"As the #1 CRM vendor, Salesforce.com is storing important sales assets," said Averail CEO Marc Olesen.   "Our new integration with Salesforce enables mobile professionals to efficiently and securely access, manage and share this content."

Salesforce integration makes it even easier for mobile sales and marketing teams to get the job done, and in a secure manner.  Averail Access users can browse documents stored in Chatter or in Salesforce by account, lead, contact or opportunity. They can view notes for a specific account, and safely upload new notes or documents to Salesforce from Averail Access. The app also allows employees to move documents from Salesforce to Microsoft SharePoint®, Box or Dropbox, and other repositories, unifying their content into one app so they can maximize productivity and deliver outstanding business results.

Additional Product Updates include iPhone App and Native Editing of MS Office Docs

In addition to Salesforce support, Averail is also announcing a new iPhone® app, as well as software updates and enhancements for current apps, including native editing capabilities for Microsoft Office® docs.

In a BYOD world, Averail Access permits a mobile employee on an iPhone or iPad® to quickly access, browse, share and edit content stored on-premise behind a firewall (e.g. Sharepoint, shared network drives,)and in the cloud (e.g. Box, Dropbox, Office365, Egnyte).  While other solutions permit the user to access and share documents, Averail also includes the ability to make and save changes to documents when online or offline.  Native editing of Microsoft Office docs is available in SharePoint and Office365.

By connecting mobile employees to the places where business content is already stored, Averail helps enterprises leverage existing IT investments, preserve existing governance systems and prevent duplication or migration that can drive up costs and put sensitive business information at risk.

Developed to meet the needs of both the mobile enterprise and its IT department, Averail Access has unprecedented IT content controls and policy settings. The cloud-based software provides admins with the ability to implement granular policies by document, device and/or user to most appropriately manage sensitive and non-sensitive content.
