Dietsmann awarded $220M IOM contract in Nigeria


The Netherlands, Breda - On August 7, SPDC - Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria - awarded Dietsmann's joint venture NetcoDietsmann the Integrated Operation & Maintenance services contract at the AFAM VI Power Plant Northeast of Port Harcourt City in Rivers State in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The scope of the Afam VI Power Plant contract provides for full-Integrated Operation & Maintenance of the 650MW gas and steam turbines. In total, Dietsmann maintains power plants with a combined installed capacity of over 12 Gigawatts of both gas and steam turbine-driven power units.

The $220,000,000 contract is for an initial period of 10 years.
