NetJets CEO Jordan Hansell Named Keynote Speaker at the 2013 INVESTOhio Equity Conference

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jordan Hansell, chairman and chief executive officer of NetJets Inc., the world leader in private aviation and a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, will deliver the keynote address at the 2013 INVESTOhio Equity Conference on Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Columbus, Ohio.

Hansell will provide his views on the global economy and what that means for a company operating in Ohio. As the CEO of the largest and most diverse private jet fleet in the world, he will talk about the private aviation industry and the outlook for NetJets going forward.

"We are honored that our audience of investment professionals and public company executives will have the opportunity to hear Jordan discuss NetJets' important role in Ohio, the region and beyond," said Terry McWilliams, an investor relations professional who is conference chairman.

Hansell's address is part of a biennial investment conference that features equity presentations from executives of publicly traded companies headquartered in Ohio. This year's conference includes a line-up of panel discussions in which participants will discuss critical business issues important to companies, investors and to the state. The panels, composed of industry analysts and executives, will explore key healthcare and energy issues and trends. Corporate finance expert Anil Makhija, the Senior Associate Dean at the university's Fisher College of Business, opens the conference.

As chairman and CEO of NetJets, Hansell provides support to each of NetJet's business units, including Global Communications; Global Human Resources; Global Asset Management; Global Flight Operations; Finance; Information Technology and Legal.

He previously served as the chief administrative officer and general counsel for NetJets, providing legal support for all business and owner contracts. Hansell joined NetJets in 2009 after working at a Des Moines, Iowa-based law firm, Nyemaster Goode for 10 years.

Prior to his tenure at Nyemaster Goode, Hansell served as a law clerk to the Honorable Antonin Scalia, Associate Justice, United States Supreme Court and the Honorable J. Harvie Wilkinson, III, Chief Judge, Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

He graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, received his master's degree in public policy from the University of Michigan and graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Michigan School of Law with his Juris Doctor.
