Infogroup Secures Experienced CRM Data Technology Talent to Lead InfoCanada


OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Infogroup, the leading provider of high-value data and multichannel marketing solutions, announced today that Jacob Ciesielski will be joining Infogroup as the General Manager of InfoCanada. InfoCanada has a broad customer base that ranges from small and medium businesses to enterprise brands. InfoCanada deploys innovative acquisition and retention programs that leverage core Infogroup products such as Salesgenie, Marketzone Databases and industry leading email and Market Intelligence Platforms from Yesmail Interactive.

Ciesielski comes to Infogroup from Proximity, where he led their CRM data technology practice which supported a range of clients in Canada and the United States. Ciesielski's team provided data strategy insights and spearheaded partnerships with leading technology providers to create data and channel agnostic solutions that delivered on clients' objectives. Prior to Proximity, Ciesielski was a partner at FSA Datalytics, a marketing services firm, which was later purchased by the Data Group of Companies in 2011. Here, he worked with top data and software providers including Generation 5, InfoCanada and Alterian to offer scalable, flexible and quick to market solutions that empowered marketers to communicate with their customers. With over 14 years of working in all aspects of marketing optimization, Ciesielski brings his experience in customer engagement strategy, database management, campaign execution, analysis and integration to Infogroup.

Ciesielski is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association's Technology and Analytics Council and a former co-chair of the CMA Analytics Conference. He graduated from Humber College with a diploma in Business Management. He will be based out of the Toronto office.
