U.S. Security Associates Joins Security Practitioners from Around the World at ASIS 2013


ATLANTA, GA, Sept. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Managers and executives from U.S. Security Associates (USA) are joining more than 20,000 security professionals convening in Chicago this month for the ASIS International 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits.

ASIS International is the leading organization of security management professionals, with 38,000 members worldwide. From September 24-27 at McCormick Place in Chicago, ASIS is holding its annual seminar, with more than 200 educational sessions, 700 exhibitors of security technology and services, and attendees from over 80 countries.

ASIS President Geoff T. Craighead, CPP describes the conference as the "epicenter for security education and technology." The expo includes everything from networking events to certification classroom reviews to sessions on operational and cyber security, high-profile incidents like the Boston Marathon bombing, and security management best practices.
 
Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, is delivering the keynote address at the general session on Wednesday. John Howard, former prime minister of Australia, is the keynote speaker on Thursday, and NFL coach Mike Ditka is speaking at the closing luncheon on Friday.
