Symphony Health Solutions Named One of the Top 25 Global Research Companies

Appears at #19 on 2013 Honomichl Global Top 25 Ranking Published in Marketing News

HORSHAM, Pa., Sept. 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Symphony Health Solutions, a provider of high-value market research, analytics and technology solutions for life science manufacturers, payers and providers, today announced that it was named to the 2013 Honomichl Global Top 25 Report, an annual ranking of global market research firms compiled by Jack Honomichl and published in the August issue of Marketing News. Symphony Health Solutions appears at #19 on the list, which includes market research companies from many diverse sectors from health and science to consumer media.

The Honomichl report ranks firms by 2012 worldwide revenue and includes research stalwarts such as Nielson, Kantar and Ipsos, among others. According to the report, the top 25 firms together generated research revenues of $18.8 billion, which represents "an estimated 58% of the worldwide spending on marketing, advertising and public opinion research services."

"Just two years ago we did not exist as a single company, but since then Symphony Health Solutions has expanded greatly through acquisition and has become a cohesive force with the resources to uniquely serve our global client base," said Frank Lavelle, CEO, Symphony Health Solutions. "Our appearance in the Honomichl ranking is just one of several indicators of our emergence as a major player in the global market for healthcare research and analytics."

This is Symphony Health Solutions' maiden appearance on the Honomichl Global Top 25 since being formed in 2012 through the integration of three independent healthcare-related research companies including AlphaDetail, ImpactRx and Source Healthcare Analytics. Independently, AlphaDetail has been named to the Honomichl U.S. Top 50 list for the prior two years.

Although the majority of Symphony Health Solutions' revenue is generated from its home base in the U.S., the company is quickly expanding into the global market and has done research in more than 53 countries worldwide. In June, it opened a London office to target the European market and better serve its growing roster of global market research clients.
