IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 26, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Q4 Mobile, a division of Q4 Systems Corporation (OTCBB:QFOR), announces that their FanggleCast multi-channel messaging system, FanggleCast, is being used by libraries for emergency notifications in addition to regular library communications.
Last year, during superstorm Sandy, Brooklyn Public Library (BPL) of Brooklyn, New York, used FanggleCast to send out emergency messages to library personnel and notify them of updates on the storm, library hours, and state of the library facilities. The system enables multi-channel communication over Email, SMS, IVR, Facebook, Twitter, and RSS. In Brooklyn's case, Email and SMS channels were utilized for emergency notification during last year's Hurricane Sandy.
"With FanggleCast's quick response we were able to launch the emergency notification system before the hurricane, despite a rushed schedule, and beat out the arrival of the storm.
