Applied Systems Flagship User Conference Is the Largest Ever

TENCon 2013 focuses on the impact of technology in the changing insurance marketplace


UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill., Sept. 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TENCon 2013, the flagship conference for Applied Systems software users, commenced today at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas. The event includes more than 2,200 registered attendees and is the largest TENCon event in the conference's 27-year history.

TENCon, one of the insurance industry's premier forums, is hosted each year by Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) and Applied Systems. The 2013 conference theme, "Powering the Future," focuses on the impact of technology in the changing insurance marketplace. TENCon 2013 features more than 200 educational sessions, including expanded content for insurance agency and brokerage executives, and over 70 exhibitors.

Geoffrey Moore, best-selling technology author and renowned thought leader on business innovation, will deliver the conference's featured keynote address. His presentation will provide insight on how technology is driving change across industries and ways insurance businesses can harness innovation to increase growth and profitability to deliver greater value as trusted advisers to their insured customers.

ASCnet Chair, Leslie Lacroix, and Applied Systems Chief Executive Officer, Reid French, will open the general session with keynote speeches on the future of technology in the insurance industry and changing insurance customer expectations.
