Photo Release -- Northrop Grumman Sponsors 2013 Chennault International Airshow


LAKE CHARLES, La. – Oct. 3, 2013 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) was a premier sponsor of the 2013 Chennault International Airshow Sept. 28 and 29 in Lake Charles, La. The company also sponsored the Twilight Show that kicked off the airshow on the evening of Sept. 27.

Performers at the show included the Black Diamond Jet demonstration team, the Aeroshell Aerobatic team, and the only flying B-29 Superfortress "Fifi." The superfortress was used in operations during World War II and the Korean War. Static displays included an exhibit spotlighting the Red Tail Squadron flown by the Tuskegee airmen and a B-25 Bomber, which was the aircraft used by Doolittle's Raiders.
