Spectrum Gaming Group Managing Director to Chair International Casino Conference

LINWOOD, N.J., Nov. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Michael Pollock, managing director of Spectrum Gaming Group, will chair the 6th International Casino Conference, one of the 8 ICE Conferences taking place February 3-5, 2014, in London. Running alongside the biggest gaming exhibition in the world, ICE Totally Gaming, the ICE conferences provide an in-depth opportunity to learn through case studies, interactive discussions and focused networking about the most exciting areas in gaming, such as social gaming, mobile, regulation and game innovation.

The ICC, organized in partnership with the European Casino Association, kicks off the ICE Conferences on February 3 at London's ExCeL Exhibition Centre, bringing together casino executives from around the world. Speakers include Damià Calvet, Director, Ministry of Economy and Knowledge, Government of Catalonia; Harrie Temmink, DG MARKT, European Commission; Luca Frigerio, CEO, Casino de la Vallée; and Roger Seshadri, Senior VP & CIO, Melco Crown.

"Going into its 6th year, the International Casino Conference remains the annual, strategic meeting point for the casino industry on the day before ICE Totally Gaming opens its doors," states Ron Goudsmit, Chairman of the European Casino Association. "Although the event has traditionally focused on the European perspective, we are expanding our focus and looking to share experiences and networks with our overseas colleagues. As a result, one of the key highlights of the 2014 programme is the major international contribution from the Senior Vice-President & CIO of Melco Crown, Roger Seshadri, with his insight on integrated resorts and how technology is transforming new business models."

Goudsmit goes on to say, "The European Casino Association is pleased to once again welcome Europe's leaders in the field and we look forward to welcoming all international stakeholders to the casino industry at the 2014 summit on 3rd February in London."

"We are honored to again participate in and support the ICE Conferences and the ICE Totally Gaming Exhibition," said Michael Pollock. "From the private sector to the public sector, anyone interested in gaming, who wants to do business in and with this industry must attend ICE this year. Our commitment to this event is one factor behind our own success."
