ArmourLite Introduces Isobrite T100 Lightweight Polycarbonate Chronograph Watch Offering Ultra Bright Tritium Illumination

Isobrite ISO401 is the first T100 chronograph in a lightweight polycarbonate case

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Dec. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Can’t see your watch in the dark? The Isobrite line of watches, by ArmourLite, has eliminated this issue by offering T100 tritium illumination, the world’s brightest. “It’s important that our military, law enforcement and first responder customers be able to look down at their watch and be able to read the time as quickly as possible in the dark without their eyes having to adjust” explains Ashley Diener, ArmourLite’s CEO.

Just in time for the holidays, ArmourLite is continuing to expand its line of Isobrite watches with the introduction of the new Isobrite chronograph watch, the ISO401. This is the world’s first chronograph watch to offer both T100 tritium illumination and lightweight polycarbonate construction.

ISO401 comes in a black polycarbonate case with green and orange T100 tritium markers. The number 12 on the dial is fully illuminated by six tritium markers. The watch also comes with the new Isobrite NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) band that is heavily resistant to oils, greases, and extreme temperatures. NBR, or synthetic rubber, is commonly used in vehicles and aircrafts due to its resistance to heat, abrasion, water, and gas permeability.

The Isobrite ISO401 chronograph watch offers the following features:
-    Ultra bright T100 tritium illumination that’s up to four times brighter than the leading T25 models
-    Ultra lightweight polycarbonate case construction
-    Ronda 5040.D Swiss quartz chronograph movement
-    Anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal
-    200m water resistance rated for diving
-    Unidirectional elapsed-time bezel with two tritium markers
-    Highly durable and comfortable NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) band
-    Zippered travel case with an extra nato band

The hands, number markers, and bezel on the Isobrite watches feature small, self-luminous tritium-filled vials. This safe and reliable permanent illumination technology allows the user to easily tell the time at a glance, even in the darkest lighting conditions. Tritium illumination is commonly used for the instrument dials in aircraft, compasses and night sights for weapons since it does not require a battery or external power supply and it remains constantly illuminated for 20+ years.
