Protext Mobility Enters into Partnership Agreement with Canadian Insurance Broker Waggoner to Create DriveAlert Canada

Companies to jointly market distracted driving solution targeting the Insurance Vertical, Auto-Dealership Channel and Independent Mobile Retail Stores throughout Canada

Delray Beach, FL., Dec. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Protext Mobility (OTCQB:TXTM; "Protext Mobility" or the "Company"), a solutions developer of innovative and trusted applications to the mobile communications market today announced it has entered into a partnership and distribution agreement with Waggoner Insurance in which DriveAlert-Canada has been created to market and sell the Company's latest DriveAlert product offering, a text blocking and distracted driving solution utilizing OBD-II technology, aimed at curbing the Distracted Driving epidemic.

Steve Berman-CEO, commented "we're excited to partner alongside this seasoned executive team with a demonstrated and well established operating history within the Insurance vertical.  Our initial focus will be the public and private sector insurance carriers, auto-dealership groups and independent mobile retail stores throughout Canada. The agreement provides Protext Mobility the ability to leverage the experience and expertise of the insurance broker channel across Canada in partnership with traditional auto-insurers."

He continued, "The Waggoner team brings over 30 years combined insurance industry experience, led by Brian Kreitz and Peter Tessier whom oversee the day to day operations of Waggoner as well as DriveAlert Canada.  Mr. Tessier has been a recent President of the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba and just finished his term as Director on the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada where he chaired the Technology Committee.  Brian and Peter bring invaluable market insight, connections and relationships within the insurance industry across Canada which we believe will allow Protext to enter markets and access potential end users not easily reachable."

Brian Kreitz- President of DriveAlert Canada commented "we both are very excited with this opportunity. By partnering with Protext, we are able to do our part in hopefully reducing and curbing the dangerous activity of using mobile devices inappropriately while driving.  We look forward to implementing technology with the goal to save lives and provide insurance companies the ability to reduce claims costs and control premiums.  As the global epidemic of distracted driving knows no geographic boundaries, we believe there is an unmet demand for the Protext distracted driving solution not just in the U.S, but in Canada as well.  Waggoner brings to Protext the benefit of access to the best insurance companies that distribute the most auto-insurance products from coast to coast across Canada."
