SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 21, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Media Alert! Press Conference Thursday, January 23rd at 9 AM at Arc View Investment Forum in Las Vegas , NV

On the heels of President Obama's recent positive comments about marijuana policy reform (The New Yorker 1/27/14), cannabis pioneers, candidates for Congress, and high net-worth investors from around the world eager to invest in the fast-growing legal cannabis industry will gather in Downtown Vegas on January 23rd for a Shark Tank-like pitch forum. A dozen of the top applicants to the ArcView Investor Network will pitch approximately 120 high net-worth accredited investors on their cannabis business dreams in a private meeting only open to its members.

More than 10 companies have reported raising more than $4 million due to their participation in ArcView, just since April. These are some of the first angel investments in this newly structured sector of the economy.
