Magenium Solutions Named Finalist

Finalist for Chicago Business Journal's 2013 Best Places to Work in Chicago

WHEATON, IL--(Marketwired - Jan 30, 2014) - Magenium Solutions, LLC, a Chicago-based IT services firm, is proud to announce that it has been named as a finalist in Chicago Business Journal's 2013 Best Places to Work in Chicago. Magenium Solutions is one of a handful of companies to receive the honorary recognition.

The program is administered by Quantum Workplace, an organization that delivers smart tools for achieving and recognizing 'workplace awesomeness.' Quantum Workplace serves more than 5,000 organizations annually through employee engagement surveys, action-planning tools, leadership assessment, and employer of choice recognition. Magenium Solutions was named as one of four finalists in the "medium companies" category (those companies with 50-149 employees) in their most recent recognition program for 2013.

Employee engagement is the driving force behind the program because an engaged work force is far more predictive of a company's success than any other measure. Quantum defines "engagement" as the presence of three outcomes: discretionary effort, intent to stay and advocacy. Employers are nominated for the program by one or more employees from within their respective company.

The belief is that when work is awesome, employees are fully engaged, clients are loyal, and business is good. High employee engagement correlates with many positive business outcomes including higher productivity, increased employee retention, greater revenue per employee, and better customer satisfaction.

"Being named as a finalist in Chicago Business Journal's 2013 Best Places to Work in Chicago is further validation that Magenium values its people," says Ms. Peggy Martinus, Vice President Sales & Marketing for Magenium Solutions. "We understand that our investment in our people and their engagement in our company results in significant and immediate benefits." For this reason, Magenium Solutions has great pride being consistently nominated as one of the Best Places to Work in Chicago.

The discretionary effort outcome measures our employees' willingness to go that extra mile. High discretionary effort means our employees are eager to produce and slow to make excuses for getting the job done. Another measurement used by Quantum Workplace pertains to our employees' intent to stay with the company. Less turn-over translates to dependency and efficiency for our customers. The last outcome measured by Quantum Workplace pertains to advocacy, which is indicative of our employees' propensity for bragging about their workplace. When employees speak positively about their employer, it reflects well on the organization and creates a positive environment to which current and potential employees desire to be involved.

Since being founded, Magenium Solutions has always offered its employees a dynamic, innovative workplace with opportunities for career growth. Magenium Solutions is dedicated to providing a vibrant culture that promotes a healthy work/life balance. We offer ongoing professional development, a flexible work environment and generous paid time off and holidays.
