Perluxan Proven Safer Option for Pain Relief

KEARNY, NJ--(Marketwired - Feb 13, 2014) - The slippery slope for pain relief frequently starts in pharmacy aisles with over-the-counter NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen. Despite major risks associated with these drugs (such as gastric bleeding), a recent survey shows that 1 in 6 people report taking the maximum dose of these medications, while 3 percent admit to taking as many as needed regardless of the recommended dosage on the package. Natural pain relievers with clinical backing, such as Perluxan, may prove to be a safer option to ibuprofen for nonprescription relief.

Perluxan is a natural food ingredient made up of a supercritical extract from hops cones (the same Humulus lupulus L. used to flavor beer). Perluxan is designed to alleviate pain and stiffness that comes as a result of muscle damage. Unlike joint compounds, glucosamine and chondroitin, that can take weeks or months to work, Perluxan can start relieving minor pains within the initial 30 minutes of taking it orally by supplementation.

David Foreman, R.Ph., known as the Herbal Pharmacist, started his career as a traditional pharmacist but now educates the public on the benefits of natural health and healing. He says more than a third of patients do not discuss their aches and pains with a doctor or a pharmacist, resulting in self overdosing of over-the-counter pain medications.

"Perluxan is my go-to herbal ibuprofen," said Foreman. "It's very good with fighting inflammation especially when you need immediate pain relief. With just one dose of Perluxan you can start feeling pain relief in 30 minutes."

In one study Perluxan went head-to-head with ibuprofen and the hops extracts exhibited COX-2 inhibition for more than 9 hours, equivalent to 400 milligrams of ibuprofen (two tablets), without the gastrointestinal side effects. In another randomized, double-blind human clinical study, Perluxan significantly reduced pain in individuals with osteoarthritis of the knee in as soon as two hours after administrating.

It is recommended to take 500 milligrams of Perluxan twice a day for pain maintenance and temporary relief of minor pain, or 1,000 milligrams twice a day for high levels of pain. Perluxan can be used in combination with glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM and other compounds for joint health and mobility. No negative side effects of Perluxan have been reported (www.perluxan.com).
