New Leadership of MEDL Mobile Custom Development Agency


FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 13, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MEDL Mobile, Inc. (OTCBB:MEDL) – a pioneer in the creation, development, marketing and monetization of mobile apps – announced today that Ted Francisco, Dawn Exline and Shannon Thornburg will take the helm of the Custom Development Division.

Ted Francisco has been promoted to the role of President, MEDL Mobile Custom Development. He has served as the company's VP Director of Strategy and General Manager since 2010 and has managed the company's new business growth since 2012, overseeing relationships with such key clients as Hyundai and Experian and presiding over the addition of several new clients such as Goodwill and UCLA Medical Center. Prior to MEDL, Ted served as SVP Director of Strategy & Digital at Campbell-Ewald. He brings more than twenty years ad agency experience with leading shops such as TBWA Chiat/Day, FCB and Y&R and clients such as Nissan, Kaiser Permanente, McKesson Health Systems and Sony Electronics.

Dawn Exline has been promoted to the role of Vice President, General Manager, MEDL Mobile Custom Development. She has been with the company since 2011 and has managed various aspects of the company's infrastructure such as human resources, recruiting, accounting and operations. Prior to joining MEDL, Dawn led the operations for Stratford Financial. She's spent more than 15 years in the software space for companies such as Mattel Interactive, The Learning Company and Pocket Express.

Shannon Thornburg has been promoted to the role of Director of User Experience & Production, MEDL Mobile Custom Development. Shannon has been with MEDL since 2009 and has led the architecture, UX and development of hundreds of mobile applications - for clients diverse as About.com, Experian, Medtronic, Monster.com, Taco Bell, Teleflora and Verizon - with technologies diverse as augmented reality, geo-location, messaging, photo manipulation, streaming audio and video, custom back end solutions and social media integration - on the iOS, Android and desktop platforms.
