BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 24, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS -- Imagination Technologies (IMG.L) announces that Toshiba Corporation's new TZ5000 series applications processors integrate multiple Imagination IP cores including PowerVR graphics and video processors (GPU and VPU) and Ensigma Series4 radio communications processor (RPU) for 802.11ac 2x2 functionality.
The new TZ5000 series of applications processors are the newest addition to Toshiba's ApP Lite™ series. The processors integrate high-speed wireless LAN and NAND flash memory in one package, targeting applications including over-the-top (OTT) tuners, IP media boxes, wearable devices, digital signage, thin client terminal devices and more.
