Price River Terminal Ships First Unit Train of Uinta Basin Crude

Fort Worth, Texas, UNITED STATES

WELLINGTON, Utah, Feb. 25, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global One Transport, Inc. announces the shipment of the first unit train of Uinta Basin crude from its Price River Terminal (PRT) crude-by-rail facility.

PRT, which opened in December of 2013 in manifest train service, is now the only facility in Eastern Utah capable of shipping unit trains of crude. Direct access to both the Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroads allows PRT to provide its customers access to refineries throughout the country, unlocking previously unavailable markets. "The establishment of unit train capabilities at PRT is a major milestone in the development of our facility" said Jason Dial, Vice President – Business Development for Global One Transport, Inc.
The facility is currently being expanded to include automated truck unloading racks and tankage to provide area producers with the flow assurance they need to efficiently manage their business. Future expansion is scheduled for transloading of dry bulk commodities, such as frac sand, ceramic proppants, tubular pipe, oil field equipment, building products and other materials to support the drilling industry.
