Bengaluru India Hotel Launches Food Festival

BENGALURU, INDIA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - The Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Rajajinagar, a new business hotel in Bangalore, hosted an exciting new food festival called Zaikedaar.

The festival was a week-long culinary fair held at Kava, a stylish Bengaluru restaurant inside the hotel. Zaikedaar showcased a variety of classic dishes, like Punjabi butter chicken, Malabar fish curry, kadhai paneer, murg malai tikka, and different styles of biryani.

The festival was overseen by India's first Master Chef, Pankaj Bhadouria, who conducted a special cooking demonstration for guests, hotel staff, and media. Chef Bhadouria showed the hotel's head chef Mahesh Padala and his team how to make a perfect kebab and how to prepare Lagaan Ka Murg, a special dish from the Awadhi cuisine. She also explained the importance of making dishes healthier by using less oil and substituting healthier ingredients whenever possible.
