Vinus & Marc Is No Longer the "Hidden Gem" on the Upper East Side

Bar/Lounge Thrives as It Unveils Expanded Menus and Kicks Off Weekend Brunch for Mother's Day

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - May 8, 2014) - Frank Locker Associates is pleased to announce the expansion of business hours and food items due to demand since opening Vinus & Marc in the Yorkville area of NYC in June 2013. Bringing old world charm and a little bit of downtown uptown, Vinus & Marc is inspired by the prohibition Great Gatsby era with hand-crafted cocktails inspired from the 1920s and '30s, a curated wine list by expert Locker and a menu sourced with local artisanal farm produce and seasonal ingredients. The 55-seat lounge has become a hot spot with 4.5 to 5 star rating for food and cocktails and a popular spot for the late night crowd with the kitchen open to 11pm weekly and midnight on weekends.

Chef J. Luis Dominguez, working alongside Locker, continues to present innovative Latin-French Fusion inspired dishes paired with the seasons. The new menus feature brunch, lunch and dinner featuring three-peppered grilled pork chop, steak frites with chimichurri sauce, grilled wild Alaskan salmon with organic lentils, seasonal vegetables and pastas. Appetizers include the wild east and west coast oyster, the popular cheese and charcuterie selection, and the Chef's special beet salad. Weekly lunch starts Monday with a $15 Pre-Fixe daily two-course lunch including Chef's angus cheeseburger adorned with two Spanish cheeses and accompaniments, a caprese pasta vegetable salad, grilled fish and a seafood pasta. Brunch starts Saturday with a large selection of eggs, salads, pastas, and main dishes paired with wines and a house selection of spiced Bloody Marys made with vodka, gin and bourbon. Kitchen will remain open throughout the day and into late evening daily.

Vinus & Marc has had great success with the Pre-Fixe Menu specials for the holidays and special events and will be offering a Mother's Day Pre-Fixe Menu all day Sunday from brunch through dinner. "We have a great loyal following in the neighborhood and people traveling to visit us with our 4.5-5 star ratings for our cocktails and food. Our house made craft cocktails combined with our late night kitchen have been popular and we are excited to expand the food items with brunch, lunch and dinner items," says Frank Locker, owner. Locker continues, "The kitchen will remain open so you can come in for a drink and a bite to eat at any time throughout the day and evening. We thought people would come for our house made cocktails which they love, but the food has been a much bigger draw than expected."
