University of Colorado Boulder Extends 29-Year Partnership With Paciolan

Continues to Utilize Paciolan Ticketing, Marketing, Fundraising and CRM solutions, and Implements Ticketing Intelligence

IRVINE, CA and BOULDER, CO--(Marketwired - May 29, 2014) - Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions in college athletics, today announced that the University of Colorado Boulder (Colorado) has extended its 29-year partnership with the company. Colorado will continue leveraging Paciolan's best-of-breed ticketing, marketing, fundraising and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, and has implemented the company's data warehouse solution. The university has also utilized Paciolan's strategic partnership with 3D venue visualization leader Ballena Technologies (Ballena). Colorado has been a Paciolan partner since 1985. Paciolan is a subsidiary of the Philadelphia-based sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.

"We have had a long-term relationship with Paciolan and appreciate the level of expertise and services provided by their entire staff," said Rick George, Athletic Director at the University of Colorado Boulder. "Continuing our partnership allows us the flexibility to unveil new initiatives that expand our relationship with fans and donors to provide a better experience for them."

Colorado will continue to efficiently sell tickets and process donations in real-time using Paciolan's industry-leading eVenue online ticketing solution at their branded website CUBuffs.com. Fans and donors are provided with a one-stop eCommerce site that offers the ability to purchase tickets via interactive pick your own seat maps for football and basketball events, as well as online account management.

Through Paciolan's strategic partnership with Ballena, Colorado integrates the company's realistic and fan friendly Seats3D and Seat Relocation Management System (SRMS) with eVenue to provide their fans with the convenience to view and upgrade their seats in a 3D environment online. Using the integrated technology, Colorado season ticket holders are able to individually sign on to preview individual seat availability online with a view of Folsom Field from a particular seat.

"Revamping how we organize our seat upgrade process through Ballena's integration with Paciolan has been one of the most positively received initiatives from our fans," said Matt Biggers, Associate Athletics Director of External Affairs and Chief Marketing Officer at the University of Colorado Boulder. "Paciolan enables us to deliver creative and technological savvy tools our fans can use to better their experience with Colorado Athletics."

With the extended partnership, Colorado implemented Paciolan's Ticketing Intelligence data warehouse solution to provide staff with a time-saving and powerful reporting tool. The sophisticated data analysis solution allows the university to better analyze sales, customer data, compare ticket sales and fund development across seasons, and adapt programs to maximize revenues. Ticketing Intelligence enables Colorado to more easily assess their business, improve operational efficiencies and use real-time data to enhance the experience of each fan and donor.

"Ticketing Intelligence has given us better data in a real-time, streamlined manner. We use the system to save hours of producing reports. From an analytics standpoint, it's a tremendous step forward for our athletics department," added Biggers.

Colorado continues to engage with their fans and donors to promote events and special offers using Paciolan's marketing services. Leveraging the company's PACmail email marketing system, Colorado effectively engages its fans and donors with an emphasis to market ticket renewals and sales, upcoming events and campaigns. The platform allows staff to send tailored, segmented messages that highlight initiatives of the athletic department and Buff Club. Colorado also utilizes Paciolan's display ad retargeting technology to deliver sequential banner advertisements with special offers, tailored to specific consumers who visit their website to purchase tickets to their events.

"Colorado Athletics has seen significant growth and sustained success through new initiatives led by Matt Biggers, along with the entire athletics staff," said Dave Butler, Chief Executive Officer of Paciolan. "We are excited to continue our partnership with Colorado and continue to see their athletics department grow revenues through innovative programs that allow them to further enhance the fan and donor experience."
