Newforma Appoints Alan Facey Chief Customer Officer

New Position Created to Lead Worldwide Sales and Customer Satisfaction as Project Information Management Software Company Continues to Scale Globally


MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Jun 2, 2014) - Newforma, a project information management (PIM) software company integrating people, projects and processes to transform building and infrastructure project delivery, today announced the appointment of Alan C. Facey as chief customer officer, a new position at the company. As CCO, Facey will be responsible for worldwide sales and sales operations across the company's three geographic sales territories -- North America, EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), and the Asia Pacific region. Facey will also be responsible for worldwide support and services.

Facey comes to Newforma from open-source management company Black Duck Software, where he was an executive vice president and CCO. At Black Duck, Facey increased sales by more than 250 percent in five years and achieved a global market share of over 80 percent.

Before Black Duck, Facey was vice president of global sales and services at database activity monitoring company Lumigent Technologies, since acquired by BeyondTrust. He raised Lumigent's worldwide sales by more than 100 percent in less than two years.

In a career devoted to sales leadership, Facey has also held senior sales and general management positions with ClearStory Systems, Progress Software, Cleanwise, Holistic Systems, Lucas Engineering & Systems, and Metier Management Systems.
