SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 4, 2014) - Preact, the leading customer success service, today announced the addition of three more industry veterans to its executive team. Mike Saldi serves as Preact's Chief Customer Officer, while Justin McCarthy joins as Chief Technology Officer, and Amit Vyas has been named Vice President of Sales. These key hires come on the heels of Preact's public launch of its leading-edge service that helps subscription software companies maximize customer lifetime value by reducing churn, acquiring more paying customers, and driving upsells.

"Mike, Justin, Amit are fantastic additions to the Preact team, bringing deep experience from some of the most impressive companies in Silicon Valley," said Preact CEO, Michael Geller. "Within the next five years, growing customer lifetime value will be the most important source of profitable, long-term growth, and companies that don't master this will fail. With an outstanding team and an industry-leading product, Preact is poised to define and lead the customer success industry."

Mr. Saldi brings over 16 years of experience developing and delivering impactful programs that result in customer success. He also built the team responsible for all customer related programs in Engineering and Product Management, including Product Roadmap Planning, Technology Communications, Customer Release Readiness, and Salesforce's Pre-release program. Before Salesforce, Saldi was Director, Application Strategy at Mutual of Omaha, where he drove the technology strategy for approximately half of Mutual's overall business.

Mr. McCarthy is known for designing systems and building the teams responsible for more than $1B in e-commerce transactions. He comes to Preact from Rafter, where he served as VP of Engineering. In addition to running Rafter's engineering team, he also oversaw the product and data science teams. Before Rafter, McCarthy held senior engineering and product roles at CafePress.com. As Product Line Manager, he was responsible for the vision, product, and launch of Groups. He's also managed numerous engineering and product teams at growing start-ups across Silicon Valley and New England.

Mr. Vyas adds more than 15 years of experience across IT, networking, direct and channel sales to the Preact team. He most recently served as Director of Sales, Cloud Networking at Cisco Meraki, where he helped build and scale the sales organization. He is recognized as a key contributor to the company's rapid growth from its early days through Meraki's acquisition by Cisco for $1.2B in 2012.

"I joined Preact because it's the only customer success company that combines enterprise-class data science and predictive analytics with easy-to-use, consumer technology," said Saldi. "In a world where every customer's users are different, companies need systems that can automatically adapt and learn as they grow. This is where Preact really stands out. Factor in that customers can start with the service in minutes, and Preact becomes that much more compelling. I look forward to helping the company reach the next level."
