TRC Names John Hritcko, Jr. Senior Vice President of Oil and Gas


LOWELL, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 5, 2014) - TRC Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRR) announced today that John Hritcko, Jr. has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Oil and Gas. In this role, Hritcko will lead the strategic growth of TRC's nationally recognized environmental, permitting, engineering, and construction management services, delivering innovative strategies and creative solutions to client challenges.

Hritcko's wide ranging career in the natural sector spans technical and commercial disciplines within pipelines, midstream, and liquefied natural gas ("LNG"). His expertise includes new business development, project management, commercial negotiations, regulatory and governmental relations, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining TRC, Hritcko was the Director, LNG Sales, for Wison Offshore and Marine responsible for growing new business opportunities for Wison's floating LNG solutions.

Previously, Hritcko served in leadership positions for Shell Gas & Power in Houston, Texas and The Columbia Gas System. As Senior VP and Regional Project Director for Broadwater Energy, LLC, a joint venture between Shell and TransCanada, he directed project development teams and led its public outreach program while securing federal permits for a critically needed energy project intended to serve the NYC metropolitan gas market. While at Columbia Gas, Hritcko played a key role planning and implementing the turnaround of the then idle Cove Point business.

He frequently participates at energy forums and has testified before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, and numerous state agencies regarding energy infrastructure matters. Hritcko led the joint industry subcommittee on LNG for the National Petroleum Council during the "2003 Natural Gas Study," recommending changes to federal natural gas quality specifications including the use of gas interchangeability standards.

Hritcko graduated with an Associate Degree in Engineering Sciences from Broome Community College in Binghamton, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He later earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the College of Business at the University of Houston.
