LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lately, we have been hearing a lot of positive news from Dennis Rodman's Bad Ass Vodka camp, and last month the company managed to pick up two prestigious awards. Dennis, who is a five-time NBA championship winner, can now also proudly say that him and business partner Andreas Johansson have won awards at both the San Diego Spirits festival (one of the top-ranked festivals in the US) and the Alberta Beverage Awards, competing with more than 700 entries.

The San Diego Spirits Festival took place for the sixth year in row during late August, and the competition has been rated as one of the top in the country. Amongst fierce competition, Bad Ass Vodka managed to win the Founders Gold Award.
The Alberta Beverage awards is open to any brand currently on sale in the Province of Alberta, and Bad Ass Vodka won a Judge's Selection Award, an award that have gone to household names such as Tito's Handmade Vodka and New Amsterdam Vodka in the last two years.
